A sea of noise

Sohmer and Lar are fucking amazing. Whenever they take aim at a cultural memento of our shared childhood, it rings so beautifully true. They have delivered tributes to Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes and many more. Scroll back through the archive; wonder at the early arts blandness; marvel at the changing artistic line-up; be stunned by the arrival of deSouza’s art; be further awed by the comics writing and artistic evolution.

Three of my favourite webcomics have evolved in very strong ways, and the other two, http://www.somethingpositive.net/ and http://www.questionablecontent.net/ have evolved artistically and literarily quite impressively as well.

Read them. All of them.

(Obviously I take no credit for LeastICouldDo or the others.)
